Cnut Penny

I'm beginning to really not like that Cnut anymore. (Someone on the CU forums described it as a hotdog on a stick... he was right!)

I go Athelstan, again.
Sir Sisu
The Athelstan penny.
Emperor Oli
Æðelstan.

Wow.
The Cnut...Mr Cooke bought a hoard of Cnut's all different types and mints
and was selling them for £60/70...about 5 years ago?
He said they would return to their market values £150 +....
I intend to find one....On holiday last week we had a private beach only for guests
in the cottages or accessed smile.gif by boat.
Whilst fishing a detectorist moored so I had a chat....He had a pocket full of coins and a beautiful gold ring.
I've just booked my first rally.

I can't remember what i paid for that Canute. Colin was right about the price though it has bounced back. I can't remember if i paid either £120, £135 or £180 for it... i'll have to find the reciept one day.

Needless to say it was a hell of alot cheaper than the other.

Cnut wins. (damn and blast that coin to Hades for kicking out my favourite, i hope it loses).
