The reason i ask is because i've got this new coin currectly slabbed and awaiting freedom. However the coin is not exactly cheap and for my first go at cracking a slab i'm not so keen to go wading in attacking it with hacksaws and vices...

If anything goes drastically wrong i'd like to find out on a cheap coin. The cheaper the better, anyone got any sample slabs or something lying around?
