I've dreamed of coins many times in the last 40+ years. My most vivid [which I still remember from 30+ years ago] is me standing at a Houston bus stop {i was attending law school in Houston, texas, at the time].
I happen to scuff the soil near the bus stop sign and I see a flash of silver. It turns out to be a Barber half dollar [minted 1892-1916, for those not familiar with US coinage]. I get on my hands and knees and begin to brush at the dirt.
Lo! and behold! I find many hundreds more Barber halves.
I don't have much interest in the Barber series [except my Dad's birth year, 1915], much less the halves; however, I've had a deep and abiding interest in numismatics since 1959, so I'm not too surprised.
OK, all you amateur [or otherwise] shrinks, analyse this!!

Sound like you found the diamond in the rough, or in this case the barbers in the crud.
