1837 half cent token identified in the Redbook (bottom of page 82 in the '05 edition) as the single half cent token issued in that year with the reverse legend: "One Hlaf Cent Worth of Pure Copper".. This is the one that the Whitman half cent book has a space for. My estimate is high VF, to EF. 38-40-ish. Sorry, but I don't know of any guidelines published for grading this issue.
