Full Version: What commem did I receive?

CoinPeople.com > CoinPeople.com Spotlight > Contests and Giveaways > Expired or Ended Contests/Giveaways
Sir Sisu
I received a package last Friday that had 3 different commems that I had bought. (I did not post this in any other thread. So that will be no help. wink.gif ) Your job is to guess at least one of them. I want country, date, and denomination. One guess per person until I respond. Then 1 new guess is allowed until I respond again.

Here is a clue to narrow down the choices: It is a 20th century coin. grin.gif

Winner will receive some random circulated Russian/Soviet coins. And since this one is a tad harder, I will also throw in an unc 2005 Belgium commemorative €2.

Good luck! clapping.gif

***************NEW RULES********************

Guess the country that the coins are from and win some random circulated Russian/Soviet coins.

1 guess per person until I respond.

BONUS: unc 2005 Belgium commemorative €2
The person guessing the correct country will be allowed 3 guesses. If one of them is the same as one of the coins received, they will receive the bonus.

"It is a 20th century coin"

Let's see...that narrows it to at least 20,000.
How 'bout a continent?
Brett
ok I figured I would get my krause, close my eyes and just open it, so here is my guess

Hungary 1994 500 Forint International European Union

You're right, this will take too long. All three coins are from Europe, all from the same country, and none are proof. And since there were 3 coins, I am increasing the guesses to 3 each time until I check in.
banivechi
I think it's about Russia.
morgancollector22
