OMG Doraemon. 35th anniversary?!?!?! Geez, I have been watching it ever since a kid... I still remember the 25th anniversary...

i thought this was a rip off, since the doraemon piece is just a colored medallion...but i found out that the regular proof sets were around the same price anyway.

I think I'd go for a coin set based on Space Cruiser Yamato (aka Star Blazers) but I think I'd like to see one of Macross (aka Robotech) a little more.

that would be sorta cool, with the medal having the skull & crossbones on one side, and the sdf-1 on the other

Sounds like a sweet design idea The one I would like to see would be one side the Skull Squadron emblem and the other being the U.N. SPACY emblem. BTW if you’re into Robotech they will be releasing a new movie dvd and maybe a series in the next few months http://www.robotech.com
