Picked this one up the other day - really nice medal, still has some lustre.
It was struck at the Nobell Industries exhibitors site.

The Medal is the work of the designer & engraver Percy Metcalfe.

Nobel Industries Limited, a company established by Alfred Nobel in Scotland and merged into Imperial Chemical Industries in 1927.

Alfred Nobel the inventor of dynamite and the founder of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Lovely 20's design. The design of the word BRiTiSH is classic!

Thanks for that information Constanius - Percy Metcalfe is responsible for the design of Australia's 1934/35 Commemorative florin and the George V obverse used on early NZ and Fijian silver coins.
The obverse design as used is pictured below:

Well have bought a copy of the 1924 Noble now someone goes and posts another I shall have to find LOL thanks a lot guy's. lovely medals yahoo.gif
