I can only find F and G's, because I'm living in the Ruhr-District. Northrhinewestfalia doesn't have an own mint... and the next mints are in Baden-Würtemberg...

I got a nice '64D rosey in the CoinStar today.
Vfox
2x 1968-S Jeffs and a what looked like a 1938 one dollar bill at the time but I can't find a listing for that series existing so I think it may be a worn 1988 lol...I'll have to look at that one a lil closer. bthumbsup.gif
jtryka
If it has a green seal, it is most likely a worn series 1988 (small size $1 FRNs weren't issued until the 1960s).

Yesterday I got a 1940 nickel and a 1959-D cent at lunch.
Tiffibunny
I got 2 Nebraska Quarters looked to be in MS condition from the gas station a few days ago, the guy must have just broke a roll.

Yeah I went to my dealer today, and remembered it was in my wallet, he said it looks like someone restamped a 3 where a 8 once was. He also said the only made series 1935 and didnt make anything else until series 1957...both silver certificates. Interesting though...it'll be spent shortly, maybe someone here will find it lol.

I didn't get this in circulation but my sister did and passed it on to me, a Great Britain 1887 one shilling. Guess they thought it was a quarter. biggrin.gif
Vfox
I got my first East Caribbean States quarter of 2002 out of circulation today. Really nifty boat on the back of it, it was mixed in with the normal US quarters in my till. Au/Unc, nice coin.

Yesterday was a good day for change, a 1943-S Jefferson, a 1947 Jefferson, and a 1946 cent. The 43-S is worse for where, but at least I have 50¢ worth of silver.

A very low mintage 2004 Finland €0.50 piece and a 2004 Finn €2 commem as well. yes.gif
Burks
Went through our change jar and found.

1958-D Lincoln
1936 Lincoln
1946 Jerfferson
1952 Jefferson
1954 Roosevelt

Pretty good stuff for searching a change jar.
Art
Change jars are great sources of neat coins, especially jars that belong to non-collectors. bthumbsup.gif

I forget what this error is called, neat though. A nifty lil dime. Basically one end is over twice as thick as the other.

I found some interesting coins, too. From Germany, Netherlands and Belgium

3 x 2 Euro Holstentor 2006 F, G, J
1 x 20 Cent Germany 2006 F
100 x 1 Cent Netherlands 2004 in two German Rolls (Coins from the Netherlands rolled in the paper of the "Bundesbank"
and some other Belgium coins.

The uneven rim on the dime is caused by a misaligned die. Usually the hammer die isn't straight in the press. For these modern dimes that usually means one of the four movin dies on a horizontal quad press is misaligned.

I got a nice well, stuck slider unc 1974 quarter last week. This is a spectacular find on a few levels but just finding a well struck coin of this date is a little unusual. It's probably from a mint set but thee's no way to know.
jtryka
Yesterday I got an unc. 1984-D quarter that quickly upgraded my former specimen in the whitman.
Rotten Rodney
I found a 1945 S Nickle yesterday and 2 1938 nickles on Friday.
Vfox
Okay, not circulation finds, but what I found with my metal detector today! A few cents, and a dime from the 80's/90's and a 100+ year old sleigh bell! Whoo!

in the past 3 months I've found about 6 1950's nickels, and a 1983 1cent that's all red, looks UNC.
NewCoin
I had place my change on the sink counter. It had been laying there several days when I noticed a very cherry 1999 nickle! Beautiful! bhyper.gif

This was an odd one for the US, but I got a 1 cent euro today...which is smaller than a US cent, but still circulated a bit here. I'm not sure of the country....has a theatre mask on the back or something...maybe france?
