Maybe it is my close proximity, but I swear the CoinStar at the local Kroger takes Canadian coins. I *know* I have ran a few through without any problems.

1966 washer in VF or so. Weird since it has a bit of hair detail, and I've seen SMS washers with no hair lines at all.

Yesterday at the grocery store I received 4 of the new 2005 Finn €2 commems. The cashier must have had a new roll of them!

Brings total wheats found in circ. to over 3 rolls.
2 INC's
about 6-7 98/00 wide am's.
1 95 dd

Saw a bunch of wheaties while filling in for a teller at work, all common dates from the fifties, one 1941, but I passed and sent them to do their job in the nations commerce...

Those are pretty nice finds from circulation! Especially that tombac. The color alone makes that very different than circulating pieces.
Sir Sisu
Finn 2004 commem €2. It seems like there are some still out there.
Burks
Not really even a "good" find but a super nice 1997-D quarter. Either came out of an old bank roll recently or a mint set.
Sir Sisu
I did not find these myself, but my co-worker did. His band had a gig in Luxembourg over the weekend, so I asked him to pick me up whatever he comes across. biggrin.gif

Cashed in $50 worth of accumulated searched cents a couple of weeks ago and got $10 back for searching. All (100%) were pre-82 coppers ; ). Must have been stashed in the back of the vault for awhile. About 15 wheaties and about 20 bright red and shiney. Pretty neat.

All were wrapped/taped in old rolls from a bank in Cinncin,,, how they got into a bank in Tn is beyond me.
Dockwalliper
Another goodie from my Daughters cash drawer at CEC. a 1950D Washington quarter, F-VF.
Sir Sisu
Some decent finds yesterday: Finland 2004!!! and 2005 €0.50, Luxembourg 2003 €0.05, and Belgium 2004 €0.02.
Dockwalliper
Couple of CoinStar wheaties, '34 & '40 plus 46 cents in Canadian.
Sir Sisu
A 2003 Finland €0.20, Luxembourg 2002 €0.50 with a small die break (will try to post a pic), and a new 2005 Spain €0.05 among others! biggrin.gif

Hit the coin slot of the USA Today outside work today (this is a regular score for me, I get at least 1 quarter a week, usually more). Lo and behold, we have a winner. Tossed it into my pocket without checking. Got home, and went to toss it into my jar, checking it first, as I am gathering some SQ for a British trading friend. Not a state quarter sad.gif, not a silver quarter, either sad.gif. Not even a US quarter sad.gif Yep a Canadian quarter. smile.gif. Not a normal caribou quarter that I am used to seeing, but rather a 2005 Saskatchewan quarter elephant.gif . Which reminds me... one of the waiters got a Canadian $5 note for a tip, so swapped him for a US$5. He thinks he got the better end of that deal, but I got the hockey note, so I was happy.

Dad found a 10 cent Euro in the Coinstar. I told him about the finds people make and he checks them all the time now.
Capt-AWACS
I received a 1993 $1 star note in change, from an Arby's in Albuquerque banana.gif It is in "crinkled but crispy" shape. Good stuff.
