Coin 1: A really nice double headed eagle coin but when you flip it over...

You think it was dissolved in acid or something. And that was in the bunch of super corroded copper coins... What a shame - it's double struck and they normally don't come that nice...

Coin 2: An egg. What?

I've seen a few examples, even a pyatak that was struck in the shape of an egg. Interesting but never had one that is in this shape.

Quite a bizarre lot to be honest. And oh, I do think I have 2 1752 dengas - still in the recovering process.

It looks like the items were buried for a long time considering the pitting on both specimens. Ironically, you might have someone who would pay $500 or more on auctions for something like this. confused1.gif
