hey gang... Im no expert by far at coins from china.... can anyone shed some light on these? from what I can find in the krause... they are better coins????

Nothing "special" i guess:

Chihli - 20 cents Y 63.2 (Can't see if its year 23 or 24 - 1897 or 1898)
Hupeh - 10 cents Y#124.1

I wish they were from Kiangsi, or now known as Jiangxi. I actively collect that provinces coins.

It's funny how when I talk to Chinese coin collectors about it, they have no awareness of it. Looks like I'm going to face more competitors looking for it doh.gif I think I raised that topic a few months ago. smile.gif
