to my mind it is a fake of commemorative rouble 1827 (Alexander 1 ) look at the neck and the hair.(maybe could i begin to see what is wrong and what is true? ,a little)
But it exists a novodel 1880 in this type of rouble,is nt it??

No there is no such novodel and this is an extremely rare pattern that will cost several thousands of dollars. I'm sure if it is sold now, it will be closer to a million dollars.

That said, it's just a fake.

... when I first saw the portrait of Nicholas I on that coin, I thought that it must have been a bad joke.

I compared this coin with this description (in french) and picture following this link, this site was the first i found helping me in russian coins

but in this site , they said that novodels from 1880 exist....(Existent des "Novodels" frappées en 1880)

The coin shown in the first post in this thread is not genuine.

It is a fake, not a novodel.
