Hi,

I'm pretty sure this item is a fake.

1 Rouble Elizabeth 1752 Silver EF Russian Empire
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=300217066017

For one thing the description says it is silver, but in the photo it looks like copper.

The picture resolution is too low to be sure, but Elizabeth's Moscow roubles have been widely counterfeited in China and sold through ebay. Ebay, of course, does nothing about it.

I'm not sure if this is one of those fakes, but given the number of counterfeits of this type offered on ebay and your previous experience with this seller, I regard it with suspicion.

Agreed. The photo quality is poor but the dies do appear to match with the known
Chinese fake of this year.

and 7 days, what round trip from Australia, to where? USA, Europe? Not a chance.

by the way... gripe to all members on this forum who dont indicate, at least by country, where they are. I know you want to remain reasonably anonymous, but some of us are just curious, who is writing here, and from where.
