I went to the a coinshop last friday. Two things kind of cought my eye.
1) 2008 proof silver eagle($36.50)
2) 2004 silver proof set of state quarters.($32.50)
I like both. Which onde do you thing is a better buy?

THANKS

It comes down to personal preference really. Modern sets and proofs very rarely increase in value, so as investments they don't do very well.

If you buy the 2004 state quarters in silver proof your gonna want all the state quarters in silver proof.

$32 for just the silver quarters is kinda high. Take a stroll by ebay and check out the prices there. $30 is about the price of 04 silver proof set and the 04 silver quarter set. The quarters alone shouldn't cost you anymore than $15-$20, and $20 is a little high (not counting shipping and handling)
