The presidential dollars are the worst looking coins I've ever seen. They look like tokens. I like the Sacies have a nice design,but the metal alloy they are made fom makes them look dull and ugly. I would collect gold or cooper sacies but not the once we have. The SB dollar and the Franklin Half somethin ugly about them. Share your opinnions.

The pres. dollars are pretty bad because of the token resemblance but there has got to be another series out there that is worse. Now I just need to think of it...

The presidential dollars are the worst series I've seen in a long time, not only do they look and feel like tokens but the mint had very poor quality control when making them. I would like to see a full size silver dollar come back, if not in 900 silver than in copper-nickel. I would like to see it designed along the lines of the ASE.

Concurrance. I LOVE the Sac. I just wish it were easier to obtain them from each year/mint, especially since they're only 8 years old.

I voted pres dollars because they looked eerily similar to this one token I found ages ago and I thought I had posted here some time ago but I can't find it on here or on Google. Imagine the reverse of the Pres and imagine it painted in black and white and silver, I think.

Well some people do. Over the years I've seen a lot of criticism against them. Personaly I don't have anything against them, but like echizento I would like to see the return of the large dollars-made from silver or CuNi

The SBA was one kind of ugly, but the Presidetial dollars are a cavalcade of uglies.

maybe its just the damn golden dollars. the SBA isn't half bad in my opinion. I like it more than the sac and pres dollars.

SBA by a long shot. I kinda like the pres dollars...a bit better than the saca (crap) and the SBA...Franklins are nice looking IMO. Most modern US and Euro coins are not very nice IMO. One step above a cheap tokens.

I agree with the majority of the collectors and vast public that the SBAs are ugly. But.... those new presidental dollars, now those have something very ugly about them. I would say the look to much like computer graphics than actual coins. I wish the mint would stop trying to act modern like all the other countries around them and return to the old american traditions. This is espcially my opinion on the new currency bills being released lately. It use to be said american cash were greenbacks, now they're blue, peach, and PURPLE???? I think this may even be a contirbuter to money inflation in the USA. Why trust a cheap looking bill, that looks like it were made in some poor country? Personally I think people should redeem their "american" money for more universally valued silver, gold, and even platinium.

Compared to the euro notes and coins modern American money look old and cheap. Honestly almost all modern paper money have really cool security features. American money needs a majour makeover!

Morgan dollars are BY FAR the ugliest coin series ever produced by the U.S. mint. Accessability is the only possible reason for their popularity. Sacies and presidential dollars follow. That puke yellow color is a real turnoff.

ai to that....i mean you figure a country who's banknotes are some of the most counterfeited would have more security features than most countries .... anyway on topic ..i picked SBA because well...a big head on a tiny coin....the coin should have been made bigger and have more designs on it... and plus i didnt get to see any presidential dollars (other than on google not in hand) yet so..SBA for now

I'm sorry to say, but I think we have a major disagreement here... I would like to say that Morgan dollars are my favorite coins; I love the design, the silvery luster, and the hefty silver content. If anything, anyone who will say that they are popular just because of accessabilty is wrong. Coins don't become popular overnight on things like accessabilty. I beilive the true reason they are so popular is because of the silver they're made of; not to mention the beauty of the design and intresting wild west era history they carry. I also think that anyone saying a Morgan dollar is uglier than a SBA dollar or "Sacie" dollar, has blown their top.
What kind of know-it-all person would ever dream of such a comparision, between the old western casino coin-of-choice and the "Ugliest coin ever minted". I would like something much better than "BY FAR", as an expaination for your opinion, bustchaser. Come on people! I seriously hope this guy was joking.
