Well this nickel has all the looks of a lamination error, but i just want other opinions on what it looks like



This is as close as i could get without the pic becoming very blurry

Any ideas would be nice

Unfortunately I do not have any nickels with lamination errors for comparison. However I did
check my Lincolns with similar lamination errors I noticed that each of them has a raised edge
on one or both sides of the 'stripe'. Your nickel certainly appears to have the same error.
It looks as if the coin is cracked and the metal is about to peel away.

You know I am no expert on errors, so I would wait until someone who has professional
knowledge about such things to give you the thumbs up on this.

it does appear to be some sort of planchet problem.... id call it a lamination
