If the rouble is fake, it is likely a cast copy.

The fact that it brought less than $40 indicates that other people thought so as well.

Both coins are obvious fakes IMHO.
Looks like 1707 Rouble will sell for around 1k, not bad for a fake
With some people a good reputation doesn't go any furhter than a few hundred dollars. That rouble is obviously a fake.
