Pennies and nickels may be abolished
The head of the OPM announced that pennies and nickels may be abolished
to free up metals for the war effort.

Good God, I should have looked at the date first. I was astounded that I didn't know what the OPM was.

Actually that was the OPA, the OPM still exists, and anyone associated in anyway with government employment will know what it is.
