I am realy looking forwards to the 2 new £5 coins when they are issued but not so keen on the Olympic £2 it looks odd LOL

Can I ask, does your crown have an inscription on the edge? I've been trying to find out if it has but heard stories both ways, so far I have no definite answer. The "circulation" versions are just plain milled.

Yes it does it say's 'My Strength and Stay' no idea what it means though LOL

Thanks for confirming that for me. Seems that the proofs are the ones which feature it. The phrase was part of the Queens speech which she made to mark the anniversary. She described Prince Phillip as "My Strength and Stay" smile.gif
