Anyway, my friend is selling his collection, and after several months we have gotten to the wheat cent rolls his father collected over the years. These were stored in a basement, in obviously damp conditions and the coins show his mistake. The rolls are Unc, no doubt about that, but nearly every coin has some gunk on the rim, and some on the faces of the coins. Use the photos to judge the damage and to assert a value, these are an "as is" sale. These are not worth the prices of Unc rolls because of this funky gunk problem, but many coins are still nice within the rolls.
He is looking to get around $80 shipped for the lot of (14) rolls (1958-P gunked roll added) Any reasonable offer will be entertained. If these rolls were clean Unc the 42-S alone would be worth quite a lot, but they are not clean, so...yeah....offer away.
