hey gang picked this guy up in as lot of world coins. Does anyone have a newer karuse? i have the 1700-1800 and the 1900-2000 but the newest one I have for this coin is like 1991 vintage... it looks like a pricey coin in xf.... is this correct?

In vz/XF this one would be about €180 according to the latest Jaeger. It sure becomes pricy (about €1300) when you get into the st/unc range ... In ss/VF however it's €45.

It is not XF, maybe VF+. Look at the shield on eagle's breast and at the king's bart. There are serious details missing.
Krause 2008 gives: F 25$, VF 55$, XF 350$, UNC 1000$, BU 1400$.

The Money Trend magazine from June 2007 (the newest I have...) gives: 75 euro for Sehr Schon (VF); 550 euro for Vorzuglich (XF); 900 euro for Vorzuglich - Stempelglanz (aUNC); and 2000 euro (!) for Stempelglanz (UNC).

I used to collect German. I'd agree with the V. Maybe 30, but I'd like to see a better shot of the reverse rim and edge. Looks a little rough at 7:00 - edge bumps?
European grading is more realistic than slab US. You actually need a full date to call it Unc
