Full Version: 5 Roubles 1831, wings down prices
I just bought one of these coins and although it's a nice XF and ginuine, I can see it was cleaned before. What are the market prices for these coins in XF?
This is the coin I bought, it's unfortunately cleaned.

Baldwin/Markov/M&M sold this aEF coin for $1,600 on a $750 estimate in January 2007.

I believe Markov's action price was really low.
This type of 5 rubles easy can go up to 3k on e-bay, I saw several times.
So don't be too rush to return it
Just sold for $2.9 on eBay live last weekend...

it is funny to compair with 1 year old prices, exectly after that time prices jumped to the sky and up
