found a 1983 P dime with the reverse looking thick and wide and there are other markings on the dime that should not be there... has anyone seen anything like this before? what about a value??? i had to place them on my website due to the size of the photo limit here please view the coin at

It looks like die fatique or struck through grease. I find them now and then, they are certainly interesting oddities. I am not sure if they carry a premium or not, but it's a fun coin anyway.

if the obverse looks normal it is a struck through.... might even be struck through a very late stage die cap
