I was adding up my change tonight and I noticed that I have a ND state quarter that is a different color than any other ones. I have about 1000-1200 quarters on the floor and can pick this one out almost instantly. It is actually very nice looking (like polished titanium). Both sides are the same and it shines like a new coin. Just curious as to what it could be and if it would be worth anything. Sorry but I know very little about collecting coins. I know it would help if I had a photo but I dont right now. I would consider the coin to be in better shape than 99% of pocket change but I know nothing about grading. I actually think that it is nicer looking than a brand new shiney silver quarter. It just looks richer if that makes any sense at all. Thank you to anyone who can help me out!!!

Not yet but possibly tommorow. I am going to see if the color difference shows up on camera if I surround it by other "normal' coins. Hopefully I can get a pic on here by noon tommorow. Thank you for taking the time to reply!!

You have $300 in quarters on the floor? Either you are in the vending machine business or that old joke...

"Which of them gave you a quarter?"
"They all did."

Looking forward to a photo of the mystery coin. Someone here will be able to ID it.

If it has an S mint mark someone spent a Proof coin and you got it. This happens frequently due to robberies and the criminals just spend the coins. Or some kid needed money and borrowed his parents coins and spent them. Or you have a coin that someone just polished to see what it would look like.
