I thought i post it in this part of the forum because generally this one gets most of the attention.

I've been looking all over for one of these and finally i find one. But what do you guys think? It's a Louis XVI 1/10 Ecu and is priced up at $270, give or take a euro or two. But i don't know a huge amount about these, for example the market value...

It's a great coin. I don't have a clue about value, but if you're happy with the price - go for it.

Nice coin! That reverse immidiately brought to mind some 18th century Swedish coins, because of the similar design features.

If I'm reading that date correctly as 1788 - then that mint mark should be MA - not just plain M. Is the A there but faint ?

As for pricing - I'd say it is about $150 too much.

Yeah it's MA alright. I heard they overpriced by quite a bit, that's why i thought i'd ask.
