Well i found this Rubber casino chip while helping clean my wife's car, the chip has seen light use, but over all in fine shape

A 50¢ chip, that is unusual, because it must have been made for a table and not of course a slot machine.

The chip seems to be made from hard rubber and yeah it's most likely a table chip

But why hard rubber and not plastic?

Frankly I cannot imagine why they would make a small change chip in the first place.
