Full Version: Cull Call Out II Ended

CoinPeople.com > CoinPeople.com Spotlight > Contests and Giveaways > Expired or Ended Contests/Giveaways
Mark Stilson
Okay same rules as last time.

Only one guess per person per day. (Any more then per day will be ignored. So fair warning.) You may take a guess on both coins in the same day. I would prefer it be on the same post.

Time/date is whats listed at Coin People. Not your local time.

First person who correctly guesses type and year gets that coin. (If two people post at the same time the first showing in order gets it.) Mint is not needed.

Just in case I did not think of something which should have been in the rules to call the winner my judgment stands.

hints. Again they both are U.S. coins. Next they both are over 50 years old. This one ought to be a breeze. grin.gif

Coin 1

Coin 2

Corky you never did post if hosting the last ones on imageshack helped.

Dan, I really can't believe this. Congratulations. The 1876 SL Quarter is right. That one was easy. The 100 year anniversary of the declaration of independence.

The number 2 coin is still going and should be tougher.

I can't say that it was anything more than pure luck. But, I'll take it smile.gif

Deadpoint, You don't have to put in the 1876 since it has already been won. Just the bbq is left.

I assumed so but I was scared you weren't calling anyone correct because they didn't put both in!

Dan, congratulations and do you have a crystal ball? (Or better yet what are the next lotto numbers going to be. grin.gif )

You got it. 1914 barber quarter. BTW Denver mint.

I'll edit and put up the reverse later.

I'll send them out Friday.

what was the bbq hint?

BarBer Quarter. BBQ
dan8402
I don't have a crystal ball, I'm just persistent. It looks like everyone else was starting to doubt it was a quarter and I was just going to guess one year a day until the quarter years were over. I guess luck has a big part in it too. I'll let you know if I win the lottery wink.gif
Mark Stilson
Heres both sides. What do you think does the 76 make P01?

thedeadpoint
In my opinion, a P01 needs the criticism of a MS67+. I guess that could be a P01 but it doesn't smack me in the face as one.
dan8402
I think the reverse deserves a PO1, but the obverse is just too strong. The full date shouldn't be showing on a true PO1.
