Hello friends of olympic items,

the 104 th auction of Winter/Düsseldorf-Germany will be performed as mail bid auction. Closing date will be the 1st February 2008 at 6 pm CET (Central European Time).
726 objects are offered - medals, coins, plaques, badges, official torches, pins, literature, passports, tickets, posters and many other items in relation to olympic games from 1900 until today are included in this auction.

Have to admit I like the colouring of the bronze medal.

The first olympic medal is a winner medal of the olympic winter games 1956 in Cortina. See No 205 of the auction.
It is the special patina of a bronce medal, which gives it the green colour.
The second is a winner medal of the olympic winter games 1936 in Garmisch. See No 65 of the auction.
