i found one today in au its about 5% off center. is this worth more than two pennies??

Don't know if it is worth more than two cents if you really want to sell it.
But, it is likely worth more that two pennies worth of excitement and entertainment when you found it... and I will make a good addition to your collection.
Do you need a picture of it?
If so, just send it along and we can do like the last time.... except, you are not permitted to send back any banknotes in trade. Don't deprive me of my fun... =;o))

If the obverse is off and the reverse is centered, then you have a misaligned die strike - only worth something if the design is affected.

If both sides are off, then it's off center, but again, to be worth much of anythign it has to be off far enough to affect the design.
