sorry if I misunderstood, but where is the reason to do that??

It has something ancient on it, remember anything even remotely old and associated with Cyprus is now banned 
Well, if Americans cannot differentiate between 3D originals and "almost 2D" reproductions, the Nordic Gold cent coins from Cyprus should be equally banned in the US. After all, the obverse features the reproduction of a copy of an ancient ship.

Good point.
Even if people think it looks old the date "2008" is a bit of a giveaway.
