I know, shame it says "ypru" instaed of Cyprus but one to add to the collection none-the-less

Someone told me British Cyprus coins are in demand at present due to their high silver content, is that correct?

I haven't heard anything specifically about Cyprus but all coins high in silver content are in demand nowadays. But what with Cyprus, and Malta, changing to the Euro this year all pre-Euro Cyprus coins will go up in value.

Fingers crossed Britain remains Euro-Coin free!

I hoping so as well. As much as I like the portraits of the monarchs on all coins the problem with the Euro is the reverse is a bit dull now, I was hoping they were going to do a completely new design for the reverses of the Euro but unfortunately they didn't.

I don't think we will anyway, no government would want to be responsible for getting rid of one of the oldest currencies in the world
