Full Version: double denomination 11cts pieces
that is a cent on a dime planchet.. from those pictures i don't see anything left of a dime strike so its not an 11 cent piece... the so called 11 cent piece happens when a cent is struck on a struck dime.
It could also be a zinc core struck out of collar couldn't it? I'd have to see the edge for cladding I guess. Either way it's an interesting coin.
