Okay,

I really did get this from a respected coin dealer. He is a RNS member and we discuss such issues as PAUL I type sets. Well, a number of years ago, before the Russian Coinage Arms Race, he had a curious piece. We discussed the item and agreed that WorldWide Coins of California or Alex Basok would be the best source to have it authenticated. But circumstances prevented this and it ended up in my "under review" box. Now I think it is time to put it in the mix.

So, before I prep it to send:

Wow! I like it! Matches the picture in Uzdenikov perfectly (in my opinion).

Can I have it if everyone says that it's fake? rolleyes.gif

looks good, but there is no record of this coin with a plain edge. Should be the edge #15 (ornate) It would be very interesting to see the other side as well as the edge.

I had one "normal" pattern (MON. MOLD. I VALAK) 1771 with plain edge, 10.76 grams. I was stupid enough to sell it couple years ago, but the picture is still on my site.

Did you sell on Markov Auction?
banivechi
No. I sold it in Romania. But back to topic, look at this pattern:
