Hi

Any ideas on what these are and whether these are genuine or fake? I don't have much experience with these.

I did find something similar in The copper coins of India by W.H. Valentine, but no exact match. According to me, one could be of Akbar and the other from Shahgarh.

You need someone with a Mitchiner Vol.2 or else a specialized reference.

Finally, someone was able to identify these for me yahoo.gif

Coin A is a Paisa of Islam Shah Suri (Goron and Goenka, 'The Coins fo the Indian Sultanates', D1065)
Coin B is an Akbar Dam (Mint: Dar al-Salam Dogoan) (KM#28.19)
