Hallosh, I've just become your friendly neighborhood floppybelly. I inherited my grandmother's coin collection, and there are some pretty interesting ones in there. There's one in particular that's been bugging me, it has no writing on it. I've been looking online for a program to help identify it, like a flowchart or something, but haven't found any. So I came here and I'm hoping you guys can help me out! I don't have a scan of the coin itself yet, but it's silver and very lightweight, almost as though it's made of tin. It's not round, but more decagon-ish or whatever. (I haven't actually counted the sides...) On one side it has a line drawing of a swami-guy's head, on the other side, a line drawing of what looks like the Taj Mahal. No dates, no letters, no nothing.

Anyway, it's very nice to meet you all, and I hope to have a good time showing this coin and the rest of my new collection to you.

Can I nominate this for the Coin Collectors Quote of the Year 2007?!!

I'm sure someone will be able to identify your coin when you have uploaded a photo of it.
And nice to meet you to!

Thanks so much, guys. Here's a couple pictures of that one coin, on the right, and a couple others that piqued my interest. The left one is an Israeli phone token from twelve years ago!
Oh, and sorry the Spanish one is upside down, it's flipped funny...

Welcome! I think your mystery piece is probably an arcade token.

The middle one is very common, a modern, just pre-Euro 25 pesetas of Spain, the one on the right doesn't strike me as a coin at all as there's no numbers, even in Arabic form..the other one seems to have a trough in the middle on one side?
The antelope thingy is interesting... it's not a telephone token is it?
Soon soneone will tell us, i am sure..

And yes, it does have a trough on one side.
As for the mystery, I'm sad that it's nothing important, but not really surprised. Thanks anyway, guys!
