if you haven't ever heard of or seen a copy stand these things are pretty neat for taking pictures of coins. this is what it looks like and it was $90 delivered.
and within the first 20 min of playing with it I took this picture.

Sure beats the hell out of cr&ppy scans and unsteady digital shots.

I want one!
I've improvised with an LED lamp, magnifying glass and 3.2 MP Olympus...

oh oh oh and the other cool part... it makes it easy to shoot right through a slab.

Can you tell us where you bought the set? I'm seriously in the market, after resorting to taking hand-held pix in the back yard sunlight for the past few months... My copper coins & jetons need much more light and longer exposures.
I don't see where theres $90 worth of stuff in there Looks like something I'd make from leftover parts+valuevillage
But still, that takes really good pictures! Enjoy it

Thanks for posting this information LostDutchman. I have been looking for one of these for awhile. This one is being offered at a very good price. I have seen them from $300 - $800 dollars. I am going to there site now.

I recently bought a new copy stand as well. My old one is very small and with my new dSLR, it just was not cutting it. I saw the one that you got LD, and was definitely considering it but I ended up getting this one...
