RNS Newsletter 20, which was mailed on Tuesday, November 27, contains the following special announcement:

**********************

Due to rising costs, the Russian Numismatic Society in 2007 was forced to increase dues for the first time
in several years. The Society has sold back issues of the Journal and the Newsletter to interested persons
but the change in the dues structure means that the prices for the back issues also need to be increased.

At the present time the charge in the United States or Canada for a Journal is $5 and the Newsletter for $2,
postage included. The overseas charge (Europe and Asia) is the same except that additional postage is
charged, $3 for each Journal and $1 for each Newsletter. It has been decided that the current prices will be
kept in place until December 31, 2007.

As of January 1, 2008, the prices will be increased to match the current dues. This means that a back issue of
the Journal will cost $10 and for the Newsletter the charge will be $3. There is no additional postage for issues
mailed to the United States or Canada but for those sent to Europe and Asia the additional postage will be the
same as at present: $3 for each Journal and $1 for each Newsletter.

The new price structure for back issues of the Journal or Newsletter will not take effect until January 1, 2008, to
allow individuals to purchase what they need at the lower prices. All orders should be sent to the RNS Secretary
(P.O. Box 3684, Santa Rosa, CA 95402, USA) and checks or money orders should be made out to the Russian
Numismatic Society. All remittances must be payable in U.S. dollars on a U.S. bank. Orders for back issues at
the old price schedule should be postmarked no later than December 31, 2007.

The price for back issues is the same for members and non-members.
