This one has a stunning portrait of HRH, in former times someones head would have rolled. Thankfully Victoria became Queen during the great social reformation in England.

In her day when she was young she was not unattractive. By the standards of our day, she would be considered plain.

I purchased this 1887 Golden Jubilee by L. C. Wyon a few years ago on eBay. The pictures are from that auction and since they are very good images, I kept them.

I also have the bronze example of this medal.
