here are some scans of some notes my grandmother had from WW2

They are Philippines and British India

Any idea on the value of them each note is a set of 5 to 10 notes

The rupee-denominated notes are from Burma, which was a British colony neighboring, but not part of India.

Yep they were issued by the Japanese occupying forces when they invaded & took over the Phillapines the 100p note that is shown above is counterstamped by a group who hoped to be able to redeem them (This was after the war) I have quite a few Jim notes in my collection hi.gif

hey bro,i have all the same notes just like yours.nice notes there and i have malaya japanese occupation notes too but accidently i found one which has no overprinted "MT" on the note,is this consider as an error note?to be honest,i have never seen anything like this before in my whole life?

In the Philippines, the Filpinos called these notes "Mickey Mouse Money" and for the most part refused to us it. Most towns and regions printed there own emergency and guerrilla currency. Most Japanese occupation currency has a value @$3-4.00 in UNC condition.
