Very nice! I realy like the princess of Wales. - half penny 1795. Its reverse the portcullis can be seen on modern British pennies. The erlieast portcullis (gate) design I can remember seeing is on the obverse of an Elizabeth I halfpenny, but it was used on earlier hammered coins a mintmark.

The last one has the look of a medal as opposed to a token, the others were all used in a monetery fashion They are very nice though, I have a small collection of both tokens and Royal Medals and would love to find a couple of those you have shown.

Yes, at that time many minted a private coin. And it was used together with the state coin.
