haven't been active much lately, due to flying, travel, etc But wanted to stop in, say hi, and ask for some advice, because all my coin literature is back at home while I am out and about.

Wierd ATM find= A couple of days ago I took 100$US out of a BankofAmerica ATM in Vero Beach and two of the notes were 2004 (not-A) Star notes. Not unc, but in decent shape none-the-less.
Both were made in DC one is District A EA run. I looked it up and saw just over 3 million were printed. For the other note I couldn't find the EL series from L12 district on the mint figures page. Couldn't find much on Ebay either.
Just making sure these are not super rare before I spend them. Thanks for any help. Wish I had my Friedberg.


As a side note one of the other notes was an 85 $20 in pretty good shape also! and one was pre 2004 none colour off centre face design and one was non-star 2006 series.

So basically I got 4 different types of notes in one withdrawl!

Cool. that's happened to me too - got a star and some notes from the 70's/80's at once, but never get them individually.

Cool finds! I have an uncut sheet of 4 2004 stars, but I bought them at the BEP in DC, and don't know much more about them, as I am not much into small size notes!

What about 50s I just scored 3 star notes in 50s. All About to Uncirculated condition. Got them at a Publix Supermarket where I work.

Serials are E5 EE 00705511* to E5 EE 00705513*

Now im broke, but i'm HAPPY
