This note is P-26 in the catalog, interesting banknote with the oil wells on and saint on the front and Romulus and Remus being suckled by the wolf on the reverse and the vignettes of Roman emperors.

All of a sudden, Romanian banknotes and coins are getting popular. I swear there is some kind of conspiracy behind our collecting! Banivechi aren't you happy? biggrin.gif

The problem is that every time I start collecting something, it then becomes popular, has happened with Scottish banknotes, Czech banknotes, Syracuse coins, now Romanian. shok.gif

oh yea bout the "US" note ...whats the "security on em" ....i dont see any holagrams, security strips, etc on it an no watermark..... weird an some ppl guess why its easy 2 duplicate..... oh well if their is any security on the bank note to make it hard 2 duplicate i would like 2 know plz smile.gif eheh since im no expert ^_^

but like if i look at a $1 i dont see a how i can make out fakes (except from feeling an seeing the ink closer ....its shiney an thick lookin ) that is assuming the fake is really good an not some printer trash xD lol
