These are from the stock of postal orders left over at the time of Bophuthatswana's
reincorporation into South Africa (27.4.1994).It was decided to issue them as usual.

Bophuthatswana Remainder Issue postal orders can be classified into 2 sub-series;
- Pre-British Commonwealth & Post-British Commonwealth.

The pre-British Commonwealth ones are ones issued up to the 31st of May 1994.
The ones issued from the 1st of June 1994 are of interest,as South Africa returned to the British Commonwealth on this date.
