Hi, see left the normal 5kop1785EM eagle (on a 1785/4EM overdate). The coin on the right side shows a slightly different eagle, drawing up shoulders as if shrugging. Any comments? Sigi

Yes, definitely can see it. The wings have a little extra curve at the (elbows?) about the level of the v between the two necks. This brings them closer to the ornaments around the coat of arms at 11 and 1 o'clock. Maybe the eagle is shrugging due to todays Russian coin prices!

I'm not too sure if I agree yet. It seems that the 1785 eagle is double struck, making it seem like there is some wierd feature.
