I am trying to find some information about this coin,an 1887 Canadian 5 cent piece, including an estimate of its worth.

Thanks
Topher
Again, don't ask me to grade, but my 2003 Haxby lists the following:

G4 - 13.00
VG8- 33.0
F12 - 70.00
VF20 - 100.00

I don't think I need to go higher. The good news is you found a relatively low mintage year there, with only 500,000 minted compared with 1,600,000 in 1886 and 2,200,000 in 1888, hence the higher price tag.
