Trading standards watchdogs have warned shoppers and traders to be on the lookout for fake banknotes bearing images of Homer Simpson or footballer Alan Shearer instead of the Queen.
Although meant as a novelty item, officers are worried the £20 notes might get into general circulation and passed off as genuine.
