Full Version: Not sure if I correctly attributed this one correctly

I don't know if I correctly attributed this coin or not. I think it Marcus Aurelius but am not sure.
Marcus Aurelius Denarius 161-180AD
obv:Aurelius as caesar
rev:Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus and scepter
-mottled patina, indent at 1-o-clock

It seems likely that you are correct, the portrait certainly fits though it could be Antoninus Pius or another emperor of that era. I can't tell if there's any of the name in the legend and I'm not travelling with the books to check on reverse type.

It is Marcus Aurelius. It looks like:-

Marcus Aurelius Denarius.
Obv:- AVRELIVS CAES ANTON AVG PII F, bare head right
Rev:- TR POT XI COSII, Felicitas standing left, holding caduceus & scepter.
Minted in Rome 156-7 AD.
RIC 470 [pius]. RSC 709.
