Not a bargain when the piece looks suspicious coupled with the sellers description:
"POLAND 5ZL 1829 ALEXANDER F.H KROL POLSKI in the condition with a tone olive-d'now a natural fantasy and exceptionally beautiful call(appeal) (charm) of eye (judge please for you,

I wonder why there were no other bidders.
The description appears to have been run through a computer translation program, so the wording might be less significant than it appears.

You can determine authenticity just by looking at a picture?
I can't do that.
I
can spot obvious fakes or coins that I think
might be fake, but I'm not able to determine that a coin is genuine
just by looking at a low resolution image.

look at the condition of the coin, plus they arent so rare to counterfit them and bring them to the f condition in order to sell for 1dollar. I can see that the metal is silver and that is good enough for me as a proof, how can i see that its silver? i worked at jewllers for quite a bit of time, and can see even from pictures where silver or gold or where its just plated/

you cant say a coin is not a counterfeit because of what metal it is made of.... its just as easy to melt down a little bit of coin silver as it would be to make it out of pot metal... I have seen prob 50 counterfeit American gold coins... that are made of gold... is this coin a feit??? I couldn't tell you...

Having seen quite some coins in 45 years of collecting I'd bet that this worn coin is genuine.
As regards high postage I think the (maybe inexperienced - but probably honest) seller can be convinced to ship the coin at the normal letter rate.
But ---- a good deal is only perfect when the item has arrived. Good luck, Sigi
