[attachmentid=2650]I have been looking for varities on my world coins and came across this large cent with strong doubling and in some places triple strikes can be seen. What would something like this be worth, and how many have been certified? I believe the coin to be in EF-45. Here are a few pictures of the coin I hope they work. If not *pm me* for more pictures. I am going to send this coin off to be certified soon. thanks and any info on this coin will be great!

i don't believe the coin has been struck twice... it looks like it could be a doubled die or mechanical doubling. and im leaning more towards mechanical doubling

I would agree with LD, that looks like MDD not a double strike.

Does this make the coin worthless?(damaged) or is it considered an error

MDD it is. Doesn't add value, but I would keep it. MDD can look great too, even though they aren't that valuable.
Anyway, great find!

Jos
