To be honest with you, I think it's more logical doing it the other way round by trying Ebay UK first as the postage only goes up the further away you are tongue.gif
Thanks for showing interest tho' smile.gif

Just a suggestion, I have found from personal experience it is not worth my while to sell stuff on eBay.co.uk, but rather the main ebay.com. Post your UK postage, and then for the USA. The reason for this is you will see more page views, resulting in more bids. I have found that if you post on the ebay.com site you attract more viewers even in the UK. Most of the time when I sell stuff it is directed to the UK audience, and I probably have about 50-60% of bids from UK bidders, but that other 40-50% would not be there if I just posted on the UK site.

My immediate problem with this, although a very good tip all the same :0 is that while you may be getting more 'hits', selling items might not necessarily be more likely for certain types of items?
For instance, if I sell a heavy lot of less valuable coins, the postage would be high because of weight but the items not valuable enough to get higher bids?
I am worried about them not being seen in the Uk because the audience might not be specialised enough! They may not be even looking for those coins...so they might ignore it anyway..

I will give it a try though! smile.gif

Yes, on some items you are right. I collect 17th century English tokens. I am not going to find them on the main eBay site. They are just way to specialised, and besides the UK site has a category for them which is why I haunt the UK site.

Ah! REAL Money1 tongue.gif I Don't collect them, but how I wish we still used them. A pocket full of half-crowns and you were RICH!

Gonna have to bookmark you in my eBay favorite sellers.

Thanks Topher!

The nicest thing anyone's said to me in...a couple o' days I think tongue.gif

There will of course be constant additions to the listings, though of course it might not be very 'filled up' at certain times...

To me it's amazing people carried large numbers of halfcrowns in their pockets as the weight would pull your trousers down! tongue.gif
